CPD Corner – a space to grow and develop your expertise

CPD Corner

Continuous Professional Development is the purposeful act of creating ongoing space and conditions to further develop your expertise. The intention to create the time and commitment is the first step to learn and grow in a way that is reflective of your values and aspirations. The next step is to identify what you specifically want to accomplish. You may wish to further develop your thinking, or to formulate new ideas, to hone techniques or develop additional knowledge and professional specialisms.

Those who create their destiny tend to tap into two secret ingredients; they know what intrinsically motivates them and as such are more than willing to invest their time and commitment. They are also creators of choice and options in line with their values and purpose, which they then connect to their learning.

To support your CPD I have three potential pathways to choose from:

I regularly attend Tricia’s CPD sessions. I love the sessions for so many reasons – I learn a lot about the Thinking Partnership and other topics that Tricia talks about, I get to practice my Time to Think coaching skills, I meet nice people and feel part of a lovely community, I get to think independently and thereby solve problems and answer questions for myself. The non-judgmental environment helps me to bring my whole self to these sessions and I always come away feeling calm, at ease, and good about myself. I am very grateful to Tricia for providing these sessions and I appreciate her knowledge, wisdom and generosity.
